Etienne, in his forties, is a banker, investment portfolio manager and family man. He returns home after He returns home after being made redundant following a restructuring plan linked to the digitalisation of his department. In the empty room of his absent child, he tries to explain his situation, but gets a little lost. He tells the story of the evolution of his job and by means of stuffed animals, toys and masks, he embodies a whole fauna of characters evolving in Finance: the sharks and vultures of unscrupulous finance, a visionary giraffe, a lion with a bit of a myth, a wolf who tries to detach himself from the clan. Then comes the regulator (state\/government), a slightly outdated policeman who proposes to bring order to this fauna. The show ends with a call for help from Etienne asking the audience to put order together in “Alice’s room”, symbol of the world to come, by pleading for a more ethical and sustainable finance. and sustainable finance.
